About Jeff Lopez
Jeff Lopez is a singer-songwriter from this area who began singing in Beaumont restaurants and clubs while in high school and college. He moved to Houston to pursue a musical career for a time and was a songwriter associated with Mel Tillis Enterprises in Nashville. Mel Tillis recorded and released two of Jeff's songs in the early seventies. Jeff also recorded several singles which received local airplay. He is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers(ASCAP). Four decades of performing and writing have produced a professional artist who continues to love music and performance.
An accomplished guitarist with a rich vocal style, Jeff includes a mixture of ballads, contemporary pop and country music along with some of his original music in his sets. You will enjoy his moving interpretations of popular songs.
